Russia ranked 12th in the Global Innovation Index

Bloomberg issued a “Global Innovation Index” which ranked Russia as the world’s 12th most innovative nation – just between Israel (11th) and Austria (13th) and well ahead of China (21th) and even Norway (14th). In the world of innovations, South Korea is king, ranked first. Germany, Sweden, Japan and Switzerland rounded out the top five in the 2016 Bloomberg Innovation Index, which scored economies using factors including research and development spending and concentration of high-tech public companies.
